1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ACS Mastery ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

ACS Mastery is an aviation education platform providing study materials, flashcards, quiz content, and related learning tools designed to help student pilots prepare for FAA knowledge tests and practical checkrides.

2. Description of Service

ACS Mastery provides:

  • Digital flashcards aligned with FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS)
  • Oral exam practice questions and scenarios
  • Searchable FAR/AIM content for reference
  • Spaced repetition study tools
  • Progress tracking and analytics

Important: ACS Mastery is a supplemental study tool. Our content is designed to complement, not replace, formal flight training from a certified flight instructor (CFI). Always verify information with official FAA publications.

3. User Accounts

To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.

4. Subscription and Payments

ACS Mastery offers free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (weekly or monthly) until cancelled.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect current billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Copy, distribute, or reproduce content for commercial purposes
  • Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ACS Mastery and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

FAA regulations (FARs), the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and other government publications referenced in the Service are in the public domain. Our flashcards, quiz questions, study paths, and other original content are proprietary.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Content is completely accurate, current, or complete
  • Use of the Service will guarantee success on any FAA test or checkride

Aviation regulations and procedures change frequently. Always verify information with current FAA publications and your flight instructor.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACS MASTERY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Failed checkrides or knowledge tests
  • Aviation incidents or accidents
  • Any damages arising from use or inability to use the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ACS Mastery, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
